Who inspires you the most to be the best you can be as a person?
Workwise, my peers. I love catching up for coffee or zoom dates to see what friends in my industry are doing. Keeps me on my toes!
Personally, my best friends. Always your allies and kick your a** when you need it 😂
Can you tell us a little bit about your business, and the areas you specialise in?
shawtalk is a digital publication dedicated to millennials who live for beauty, fashion, sex and relationships. The works.
My background is marketing and communications, previously working in an agency as well as freelancing. Digital marketing and social media was generally my focus whilst I built up my writing skills. As the editor of shawtalk, I create written and video content as well as managing 5 writers. Busy B! 🐝
Can you tell me about one of your client success stories?
As an online publication, I regularly work with PR agencies as well as in house brands. An awesome success story was my first project with Sony Music Australia and promoting Kenzie Ziegler for her new single. We did a quick phone interview which I then reformatted into an IGTV. In just 48 hours, the interview had secured over 25,000 IGTV views. Both Sony and the shawtalk team were chuffed.

What’s your favourite thing about working at Motive Coworking?
I actually get work done 😂 There is nothing more valuable than being able to plug in with minimal distraction and smash out work. And the ice cream...obviously.
What does life look like outside your business profile? What do you like doing for fun?
Super glued to my best friends getting a cocktail and planning our next business venture/s.

shawtalk’s newest podcast Too Pisces will be all about navigating the turbulent world of dating, learning how to love yourself as well as others. I’d love any connections with business people that are all about improving your physical and mental health / wealth. Anyone we can collaborate with and have on an episode ie. psychologists, psychics/mediums, personal trainers, brands we can do affiliate marketing with etc.
Bonus Question: If you were a sandwich, what sort of sandwich would you be and why?
BLAT- because it’s funny to say and I’m a funny gal.
